Bot

If your server was visited by us, one of our customers set up a check for that exact address. We check at most once a minute, we never crawl, and we never follow links to other sites. If you do not want to be checked, tell us and we will block your host.

How to recognise us

Our checks send this user agent:

StarholdStatus/1.0 (+https://status.starhold.app/bot)

Each check is a single request (GET or HEAD) to a URL a customer configured by hand, plus up to 3 redirects. We read at most 64 KB of the answer, keep only the status code and how long it took, and throw the rest away.

What we do not do

• We do not scan ports or sweep address ranges.
• We do not send cookies or credentials.
• We never contact private or internal addresses.
• We never check a URL a customer did not configure.

Opt out

Email hello@starhold.dev with the host name. We block it, so no customer can set up a check against it.
